Fibre blowing is what CBS is known for. The range runs from the Storm for last-mile drops up to the Tornado for trunk cable, with the pullers, winches and trailers to go with them.
Fibre blowing machines
Compressed air carries the fibre through the duct while the machine controls the feed. Safer and faster than pulling, with no tension on the cable.
Storm
Battery-powered, 1.8 kg. Fibre 0.8–3 mm in 5, 7 and 8 mm duct. For FttX and last-mile installs.
Hurricane
Compact machine for microcable and drop cable. Data logging available through the Hurricane portal.
Jetstream
Microfibre blower for 6–20 mm cable in 10–50 mm duct. Supplied in a case with power pack.
Tornado
The trunk-cable machine. 6–32 mm cable in 25–63 mm duct, hydraulic power pack, converts to tube blowing.
